Living With Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. Facial Cellulitis

Monday morning I went into the ER due to great pain and swelling on the left side of my face. The doctor diagnosed me with Facial Cellulitis. I was given a shot of antibiotics, plus pills for pain. Also, my blood pressure shot up to 214/105. It took 4hrs plus 5 blood pressure medications to bring my blood pressure below 200.

I never heard of this before and I wanted to share this with others who may be suffering with the same type of pain. It can become very serious if not treated right away. I started out waking up with sweat from fevers, then the pain and swelling started. I started taking over the counter pain pill and that did not work. As a matter of fact, the pills I am taking now, Tylenol with Codeine is not really working for me either, but it is certainly better than nothing at all. Here's what you need to know if you think you or someone you know may have this condition.
